Swedish Massage is the lightest and fluffiest of the massages.  It is designed for relaxation and stimulating the circulatory system. 

Deep Tissue Massage is designed to penetrate the deeper layers of tissue. Starting superficially and easing into the depth allows for deeper muscle work. Some people are fine the next day, others are sore. Be sure to drink plenty of water no matter to which group you belong.

Prenatal Massage needs to address the individual.  Some women need to lie face down in a special supportive cushion system with the tummy cut out.  Other women will benefit most from a side lying position.  Occasionally seated massage is most appropriate.  The best position for that day will be determined upon arrival and consultation.

reiki is an energy healing technique that is received through a series of light hand placements over the fully clothed body.  Reiki synchronizes and energizes the vital meridians and acupuncture points of the body while gently aligning and balancing the major energy, or chakra, centers.  Reiki is particularly helpful for people with fibromyalgia when touch is painful, and for those going through cancer treatment.  Reiki is an energetic support to medical procedures and practices, and neither conflicts nor interferes with current treatment.

reflexology involves manipulation and massage of specific points in the feet, hands, and head that correspond to other parts of the body.  reflexology reduces pain, increases relaxation, stimulates circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids.

Corporate Chair Massage is by far the most convenient form of massage therapy. Chair massage usually lasts 15-20 minutes and is done while fully clothed.  It is usually done in the workplace, as it promotes better circulation and provides relief for tired, weary backs, necks, and shoulders. Chair massage is available on-site for $70 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
